Paget Marsh
Paget Marsh is a natural wetland jointly owned and administered by the National Trust and the Bermuda Audubon Society. The two organisations have joined together in creating a nature trail through the marsh, which includes a boardwalk and interpretive signs. This large area of lush vegetation is one of the last surviving fragments of the endemic forest that covered the island prior to colonization in 1609. The marsh is particularly important and interesting in that it contains a wide variety of wetland habitats. Located in Paget. 441-236-6483. |
