The Admiral's Feast: The Culture, The History, The Ambiance, The Magnificence

The Gombey Carnival Beach Fête
Get into the groove as the festive 'Spirit of Bermuda' comes to life at the world famous Horseshoe Bay Beach. Bermuda Annual Exhibition 2005
The 67th Bermuda Annual Exhibition is a three day 'country fair', with equestrian events, judging of home made food, educational displays, livestock, entertainment in the main and lower ring, horticultural displays, and an outdoor market selling Bermuda’s best. Food available from small stalls run by local charities; Children will enjoy ‘critters’ made of vegetables, unique Bermuda kites, the goat milking display and decorated cakes. Bermuda End to End 2005
The 2005 Bermuda End-to-End event includes an End-to-End Walk and Cycle, A Middle-to-End Walk and Cycle, a Youth Invasion End-to-End, Middle-to-End Walk, the Sandy's Stroll and the Itsy Bitsy Children's Walk. Experienced kayakers must register by Wednesday, April 28th. Kayaks are available for rent. Over 1,500 local and overseas participants WILL come together on behalf of Bermuda charities.There is a registration fee of $35 and we hope that all participants will consider an additional donation to assist our chosen Bermuda charities in 2005. |

Bermuda International Film Festival 2005
The Bermuda International Film Festival 2005 is March 18-24, 2005. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has elected to recognise the Bermuda International Film Festival as a qualifying festival for the Short Films category for the Annual Academy Awards®!Join us as we celebrate the art of filmmaking with our visiting filmmakers, industry guests, our Jury, and members of the international press. Garden Club of Bermuda (The)
See Bermuda's Homes showcased during the annual Houses & Gardens Tour. Every Wednesday from late April-mid-May these select homes will be decorated with beautiful flowers and foliage abundantly found in Bermuda's beautiful landscape created by The Garden Club of Bermuda. The gardens of these home will also be on tour along with Bermudian hospitality. Rain or shine. Shuttle service provided if required. All proceeds are used to fund scholarships for Bermudians to study in all fields of horticulture. Cost: $20 pp each week. Group rates available. |

Harbour Nights
Wednesday nights 7 to 10pm from May and October, Front Street in the City of Hamilton is closed off to traffic. Thousands of visitors and locals then enjoy the street festival as street vendors set up booths to sell local wares, food and refreshments whilst various entertainers perform. The main shops remain open until 9pm to allow evening shopping. This event is free and a lot of fun. Horse and Carriage rides around the town add to the romance and excitement of an event not to be missed. Front Street in Hamilton. |
