Aquarium, Museum & Zoo
The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo inspires appreciation and care of island environments and is a treasure trove of native fishes, exotic reptiles, birds and pink flamingos in a beautiful setting. Exhibits include North Rock, a 140,000-gallon replica of a local living coral reef & Islands of Australasia, Natural History and more. Kids love the ’please touch’ sea life tank and ’Discovery Cove’. Bermuda National Trust Museum, also known as The Globe Hotel
The Globe Hotel was the office of the Confederate agent in Bermuda during the American Civil War, which makes this lovely historic building a very appropriate site for the exciting exhibit ’Rogues & Runners - Bermuda and the American Civil War’. This is a different angle on a major event in US history: the story of an island which made a small fortune from the blockade running trade. Bermuda National Gallery
You will find both historic and contemporary artwork relating to Bermuda’s history through its fine and decorative arts as well as international art reflecting Bermuda’s multicultural heritage. Fall Exhibitions opens October 1, 2005 - January 6,2006: Photography of John Athill Frith(1835-1907); Bill Ming, a Bermudian Sculptor; the European Collection and the African Collection; and Lunchtime lectures. Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute
Experience interactive exhibits that uncover the mysteries of the sea. Take a simulated submersible dive down to 12,000 feet below sea level or feel what it’s like to be in a shark cage. Visit the Teddy Tucker Shipwreck Gallery and see one of the world’s most impressive shell collections. Clocktower Mall in Dockyard
Deeply rooted in Bermuda’s history, the Royal Naval Dockyard has been transformed into a major tourist attraction, with museums, shops and restaurants. The Clocktower Mall inlcudes A.S. Crystal Caves
Crystal Cave is the most spectacular of all the caves in Bermuda. Open to the public since 1908, the cave features a large underground lake of azure blue spanned by a pontoon bridge. The water is so clear that the formations 55ft below are clearly visible. Fantasy Cave was re-opened to the public in 2001 for the first time in over half a century. Cafe & gift shop. Devil’s Hole Aquarium
Devil’s Hole will be closed from Oct 15 to Feb 05 for rennovations. We look forward to showing off our new look! Devil’s Hole is a collapsed cave where underground passages have a created a deep pool. It has been used as a natural aquarium and Bermuda’s first tourist attraction since 1834! Dockyard Glassworks
Feel the ’heat’ of our open demonstration of studio glass techniques, both hot-pulled and blown glass pieces. Our furnace heats at over 2000 degrees! Original Art such as plates, vases, figurines and paperweights. Watch as Flameworking Artists work with Italian Moretti Cane, creating hogs, frogs, flowers and many small collectibles. Lisa Quinn Studio
Visit the Lisa Quinn Studio and experience a beautiful collection of watercolour originals and prints. Lisa’s charming studio is nestled in the hillside of residential Southampton with stunning views of the South Shore. Lisa is well known for the vibrancy and intensity of her large watercolour florals and the rich colour palette she uses to depict old Bermudian architecture. Paget Marsh
Paget Marsh is a natural wetland jointly owned and administered by the National Trust and the Bermuda Audubon Society. The two organisations have joined together in creating a nature trail through the marsh, which includes a boardwalk and interpretive signs. This large area of lush vegetation is one of the last surviving fragments of the endemic forest that covered the island prior to colonization in 1609. The marsh is particularly important and interesting in that it contains a wide variety of wetland habitats. Located in Paget. 441-236-6483.

Royal Naval Dockyard
The Royal Naval Dockyard was built in the early 1800’s by the use of slave labor, British and Irish convicts, and is an incredible example of fortification architecture. The British Naval Fleet used it as a safe harbour for its ships. Being restored in 1980, it is now a commercial site, featuring the Maritime Museum, Bermuda Arts Center, Dockyard Craft Market, a Snorkel Park, watersport facility, events and more. The Clocktower Mall houses fine shops and restaurants. Destination Dockyard Event - Every Tuesday 7-10pm at Royal Naval Dockyard.

Snorkel Park at Dockyard
Snorkel Park is now open! Keen swimmers, fish lovers and snorklers will have the chance to enjoy a new amenity in Dockyard. The beach is free and open to the public. People can bring their own snorkel gear or the facility offers snorkel rentals as well as, paddle boats, kayaks and underwater scooters through Windjammer Watersports. Tucker House Museum
Tucker House was built in the mid-18th century, and of the three Trust museums, is the most typical of early Bermudian house construction. It was built as a merchant’s house and was home to Henry Tucker, President of the Governor’s Council from 1775 to 1807. It faced directly onto the harbour when it was built, with the classic Bermudian configuration of elegant residence over a commercial basement. This museum is filled with Colonial Bermudian artifacts, silver and furniture. Located on Water Street, St. George’s. 441-236-0617.

Verdmont Museum
Verdmont Historic House museum is set in period-planted gardens with a panoramic view over the south shore. Built in about 1710, it is four-squared with four great chimneys. Unlike most buildings of its period, Verdmont has remained virtually unchanged structurally for almost 300 years. It was bought in 1951 by the Historical Monuments Trust and became a museum in 1956. Waterville was built in 1725 by John Trimingham II. It is now The Bermuda National Trust’s headquarters set in beautifully planted gardens and a small park. Bermuda Arts Centre
The Bermuda Arts Centre features local art on exhibit, working studios and a gift shop. This innovative arts venue offers regularly changing exhibitions of original work that reflect the diverse creativity of Bermuda’s art community. Bridge House Garden
Bridge House was built shortly after 1700 as the home of Governor Benjamin Bennett, and later of Bridger Goodrich, a Virginia Loyalist who fled to Bermuda, and whose privateers once blockaded Chessapeake Bay, to the chagrin of U.S President Thomas Jefferson. Bridge House now houses an office and private apartments; however, the lovely garden is open to the public. Located on 1 Bridge Street, St. George’s. 441-236-6483.

Fort St. Catherine
Fort St. Catherine was built in 1614, over the beach where Bermuda’s first settlers came ashore. Audio/visual displays depict the island’s history. There are replicas of the Crown Jewels guarded by a wax figure of a Beefeater, guns and weapons collections and cannons looking out to the horizon. The old Town of St. George’s is nearby. Horseshoe Bay Beach
Bermuda’s most popular and famous beach is rated as one of the world’s Top Ten. Horseshoe Bay Beach is aptly named for is shape which provides shelter from the ocean breezes, and allows the fine, pink sand to settle in the bay. Snorkelling equipment, umbrellas, chairs, towels, airmattresses, etc. are all available for rent. Food and drink are available from the restaurant located at the entrance to the beach. A walk along the sand dunes east leads to beautiful, private and sheltered sandy coves. Location: South Shore, Southampton.

Maritime Museum
Displays of information on navigation, whaling, treasures from the sea, coins and much more. The Commissioner’s House is believed to be the first cast-iron building of this size in the world and it stands on the highest point on the northeast end of Ireland Island offering magnificent views.
